All governments and public health agencies are updating information and taking various measures that mitigate the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak. These actions include physical distancing, closure of non-essential businesses, workplaces, restaurants, schools, large gatherings, travel restrictions, including wearing masks in public places, and more.
During these crises, emergency responders play a vital role in responding to people who need help and various other interventions where emergency responders are close to people. In this situation, they cannot maintain the required distance the only protection is to have the right, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). More.......
The innovation - New Face Mask

The U.S. researchers and their laboratory-based experiments revealed that wearing double masks can significantly improve protection than a single mask. CDC’s findings are, wearing a single mask blocks around 40 percent of viral particles, and a cloth mask worn over a surgical mask can block about 90 percent of infectious particles. (CDC Report Feb 2021).
CDC New Guidelines: These new findings compelled CDC to update their mask guidelines to the next level by recommending the public to wear double masks instead of a single mask. However,CDC Masks guidelines also revealed not to wear two similar surgical masks on top of each other, because disposable masks are not designed to fit tightly, and allows unfiltered air to leak through the edges of the masks. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/effective-masks.html
To reach CDC recommendations to block about 90 percent of viral particles and completely cover the nose and mouth for any unfiltered air leakage, we improved our existing mask performance standards to the next level. This modification improved the overall characteristic of the mask so that a person can use a single mask instead of wearing double masks.
Our masks are made with two layers of 100% cotton fabric, two layers of polypropylene inner layers, and a tight-fitting binding method around the mask with nose clips that help to reduce any air leakage around the nose and cheeks. The adjustable elastic straps with toggles will allow the wearer to adjust the mask for maximum comfort.
Today first responders and other emergency responders are facing unique challenges wearing masks in public. Especially when they respond to emergencies where they need to be engaged and active.
During these situations, emergency responders breathing abilities change significantly, where they need much more comfortable masks than tighter masks. Our newly improved facemask provides maximum performance properties that reduce exposure, well-fitting, and breathable.
The other issue is radio communication challenges. Wearing two masks also can hinder emergency responders' radio communications capabilities. Voices become muffled and, speech communication is undermined. These voice barriers create numerous challenges that are problematic for the safety of emergency responders.
The fabric and construction of the masks we produce may eliminate emergency responders' ability to talk through the mask better than wearing double masks.
